I have collected old and vintage photographs and postcards for many years. I buy most of them in antique shops. The problem was that most of them were damaged, and even though I have no idea as to who or where they are from, it prompted me to start their restoration and I have been doing it ever since. I have been busy with deadlines photo restoration and burning the midnight oil.

As a Digital Imaging Technician, I freelance daily for photography labs and individuals. I am Adobe Photoshop certificated and have over twenty years of experience. All photo restoration and retouching work is done by hand to a digital scanned image of your photograph using professional photo editing software. No alterations or repairs are applied to your original picture. I restore many different types of images.

Here is what I can do to restore your photographs:

Tears, scratches, stains, and creases can be repaired.

Objects or people can also be added to pictures.

Backgrounds can be replaced, and digital cosmetic surgery such as removing wrinkles.

Skin tone and texture can be improved, and facial features can be enhanced.

Repair torn and creased photos.

Lightening or darkening photos.

Enhance background.

Combine people or objects from other photos.

Remove people or objects from photos.

Conversion to black and white or sepia tint.

Colorize a faded color photo.

Add text.

Remove red eye.

Colorize a discolored photo.

Digital cosmetic surgery (teeth whitening, removing wrinkles, etc.).

Normal restoration (per photo)..................$15.00

Heavily damaged restoration.....................$20.00+

If the image is badly damaged and needs a lot of retouching I will let you know the cost by e-mail after I view the attachment. I like to charge a flat fee. This way, you know exactly what your cost will be. Images can be sent to me through e-mail attachments. If possible, please ensure that the images are scanned at a high resolution. The higher the resolution, the better the final result. All finished digital images will be sent back to you through e-mail.

PROCEDURE

Since I work digitally, vintage, damaged photographs are adaptable to any format of your choice. No waiting for the mail!

You scan your photo, send it to me as an e-mail attachment and I am ready to go. You don't need to part with your treasured family photos and that's a plus. Depending on the degree of restoration, I can be done within a couple of days or less.Then, I send you the completed work as an attachment in an e-mail message. This allows you to save your restored photo in your files and create your own uses. (Some people are sending their restoration as greeting cards. Great idea!)
